Job Description
We are currently looking for two backpackers to come to regional Queensland to work on our orchard. You will be accommodated at our working hostel.
The work will vary but at the moment it mainly consists of Pruning apple trees. The ideal candidate for this position must love working outdoors and you must be motivated to work hard and make money.
This is contract work so you will be paid per tree. Rates will change depending on the size of the tree.
Accommodation will work the same way as a hostel so you will accommodated for $195 a week you will need to pay a week up front. You will also pay $30 for kitchen facilities however, will receive it back on return.
You will get free transport to and from the farm daily and will also get transport to the shops so you can purchase groceries.
You will be required to work 6 days a week and hours are really varied. So you should make a nice income! This position is also eligible for your second year visa.
