Centre Co-ordinator | Director Brunswick Area
• 9 day fortnight • Flexible shift patterns • Excellent rates of pay and conditions The Centre This is a highly regarded medium sized childcare centre located in Melbourne's inner north. The service has a community feel and aims to provide a stimulating natural environment for children from all backgrounds. Your new role Your role as Centre Director will require you to oversee the full operation of the running of the centre in regards to compliance and staff development. You will use your previous experience in a similar role to ensure the high standards of the centre are maintained, using your interpersonal skills to create an inclusive environment for children, families and educators. The service offers flexible shifts for the director and as well as a 9 day fortnight to have a work life balance. You will be offered a lot of support with this role, but will also have the autonomy to develop the service as you see fit. The Candidate To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in a Centre Director role, demonstrating an ability to lead and manage all aspects of the daily running of the service. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability engage families as well as working and reporting to a members of the management team. To apply for this role it is essential you hold an ACECQA assessed Diploma qualification. Suitable applicants must have: • Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma of Children Services • Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification • WWCC • Right to work in Australia • A minimum 2 to 3 years' experience as a Centre manager.
