Job Description

We am looking for a girl wanting to complete their required rural 88 day 2nd yearvisa. You must be clean and tidy, self starting, fluent in English and able to work unsupervised.

The local area is the Atherton Tablelands and all services are within 15 minutes drive.

The job in the first instance is to look after a house, garden and 2 sheep dogs while I am absent. I am generally away for 3 to 4 days a week. It is a live-in position on a farm in the rainforest.

You will also be required to assist around the farm with cattle husbandry, fencing, spraying etc. I harvest sandalwood which I process here and you will be required to help strip the bark off with a high pressure water blaster. The logs are 1m long and weigh on average about 15 kg. This is manageable work for a fit average size female.

It would be preferable if you can drive a tractor, quad bike and skid steer loader but not essential. You will have to learn.

You will need a drivers license and a vehicle would be preferable but not essential. For insurance purposes you will need to be over 25. (essential)
