Job Description
We are about to comence a plantation establishment project in the Snowy mountains NSW and are looking for extremely motivated outgoing individuals to join the team.
Tree planting is an extreme activity that can be physically, mentally and financially rewarding for the right candidate. Tree planting requires motivated individuals as it is paid on a piece rate ranging between 10-15c a seedling. This requires the individual to plant a minimum of 1600 seedlings a day to make a suitable income so this requires dedication and motivation.
Motivated individuals can make between $180-300 a day depending on their fitness levels. Tree planting is often performed in extreme weather conditions (wind, rain, cold), in small teams (7-15 people) and so the ability to work in a team environment is a must.
Tree planters are also expected to follow directions and occasionally work without supervision, so a good understanding of English as well as honesty, integrity and reliability are also a must.
