PKL - History and Specialisation
PKL is a privately owned Australian company founded in 1995. Phoebe Lane, Managing
Director started PKL focusing on candidate care as a core value proposition. Our
logo reflects PKL’s core value proposition and business model. The three
heads on the logo represent the candidate, the client and the consultant. Without
all three parties, our philosophy falls apart. PKL’s aim is not only to understand
its client’s business, culture and needs, but also to understand our candidate’s
needs and their careers.
PKL has a differentiated marketing strategy, segmented by Office Support and Contact
Centre recruitment with a personalised, tailored approach to our service. We have
been supplying temporary and permanent Office Support recruitment since June 1995,
building an enviable reputation and respectable reputation with our clients. The
growth of the Contact Centre industry identified a gap in the market. In January
2002, PKL launched its Contact Centre recruitment team leveraging its resources
and value proposition. At PKL we do not try to be all things to all people.
Rather, we focus on our capabilities and strengths and deliver what our clients
and candidates value.
PKL has grown organically, acquiring clients and candidates through referrals
and networks and retaining them through capturing and sustaining the value originally
created. Throughout our growth, our high standards and professionalism have always
been a key focus. Facilitating the needs of our clients and candidates and in order
to provide further career paths for our staff, PKL opened an office in Melbourne
in 2004.

Office Support Recruitment
PKL is not interested in the quick 'place and run' recruitment service. We build
mutually beneficial and successful relationships with both the client and the candidate.
PKL places candidates for longevity. In a recent tender it was confirmed that 75%
of the candidates placed with a client of PKL's are still with the company after
3 years.

In 2002 PKL launched a division of Contact Centre recruitment specialists who
