Job Description
Responsible for providing a comprehensive general Paediatric service, you will gain exposure to a broad range of experience associated with services delivered from a provincial hospital.
For a role of this level you will need to be a qualified Paediatric Practitioner, with at least two years post-graduate experience. Applicants must have registration or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (www.mcnz.org.nz).
Southland DHB is a teaching hospital, with 181 beds staffed with 53 RMOs serving a community of around 117,000. The community lives in both rural and urban areas.
Applicants who have at least three years working experience in a comparable health system (eg, UK) are welcome to apply.
