Job Description
A vacancy exists for the position of Fabrication Supervisor with a progressive Engineering Fabrication Business based in Central Queensland. The position is permanent and an attractive package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
The suitable applicant must demonstrate the following;
Trade background (Boilermaking, Welding)
Strong leadership and Motivation skills
Proficient in the understanding of fabrication detail drawings
A focused commitment to quality and productivity
Have an understanding of OH & S
Good Time management skills
Some computer skills - Word, Excel & Autocad
The position involves;
Supervision of shop floor staff (10 staff - Tradesmen, Apprentices, Labourers)
Liaise with management and staff on day to day operations
Be proactive with improvements to QA and operating systems
