Our Client is a specialist manufacturer of agricultural implements and machinery.
Their brand name is instantly recognisable due to a long history of providing superior equipment and service to the agricultural sector.
The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for providing management, leadership and mentoring to the entire business.
This position will require you to build strong effective working relationships with internal and external stake holders of the business. You will work closely with existing Sales, Production and Engineering Managers as well as the owners to achieve the overall objectives required for the continued growth and development of this business. You must maintain an open door policy with owners and employees and be prepared to consider input and fresh ideas to assist in the development of the business. In addition to this you will bring your own expertise and ideas and use these to enhance the business as a whole.
Key Position requirements:
" Financial management of the entire business.
" Monitoring and effective control of costs to ensure maximum profitability.
" Providing overall management of debtors and creditors.
" Timely preparation, implementation and management of an annual budget.
" Demonstrate highly developed organisational and time management skills.
" Develop and maintain effective relationships with external agents.
" Provide assistance to the engineering team for timely preparation of accurate drawings to the factory.
" Thorough engineering/manufacturing knowledge to assist in overseeing all facets of the design and manufacture of product range.
" Demonstrate excellent leadership and be able to motivate and empower all personnel to achieve their maximum potential.
" Have thorough understanding of OH&S legislation and implement change where required.
" Proven industrial relations knowledge and the ability to deal effectively with employees and industry groups.
The business is located in a regional South East Queensland and approximately 3 hours drive to the coast so if you are looking to escape the big city this is an ideal opportunity for you.
