Emergency Medicine HMO\'s Feb 2012 Melbourne Beachside Outer Metro Service
Feel like you are on holiday all year round working in this 60 bed beachside community hospital part of large metropolitan service, the 9 + 3 cubicle Emergency Department becomes very busy during Summer holiday period, permanent community population of 130,000 almost doubles during December to February with holiday makers and day trippers.
Junior medical officers are well supported through comprehensive education programs and provision of unique medical mentorship from appointed clinicians.
This region is a wonderful place to live. There are heaps of surf and calm water beaches, Victoria’s greatest concentration of quality golf courses, mostly sand based means that they are playable all year round. Four of them are rated in Australia’s top 100, diving and sailing are also common leisure activities.
Located 80 km from Melbourne central city, this hospital provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services including Community Health, Mental Health, Allied Health and Dental Health services. The hospital has 30 acute and 30 sub-acute beds, four surgical beds serving the two operating theatres, three Mother and Baby Unit beds and three baby cots, nine Renal Dialysis chairs, four Chemotherapy chairs and an Emergency Department with nine cubicles and three fast track chairs.
To be eligible for Emergency Medicine HMO\'s Feb 2012 Melbourne you will be ready to commence Feb 2012, you must have at least 2 years postgraduate experience, plus of course the right attitude and approach to ongoing learning as well as current AHPRA registration.
