Job Description
A Bore Mechanic is required for a large, family owned cattle station situated South of Broome. The station is approximately 380,000 hectares and runs approximately 15,000 head of cattle.
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the ongoing supply of water to all livestock.
Duties will include monitoring, servicing and maintaining all water infrastructure points (74) on the property. Infrastructure includes diesel, wind and solar driven pumps and associated water lines. Duties will also involve installing new infrastructure where required.
A fully equipped bore vehicle is provided.
It is essential that applicants have some experience with bores and windmills and some mechanical knowledge as well as a current driver's licence.
Casual, part-time or full-time work available for partner (if applicable) depending on experience.
Both single and partnered furnished and airconditioned accommodation is available. Accommodation is provided within the well maintained homestead area which includes a swimming pool.
Personal animals are permitted after discussion with the employer.
All food is provided. Wages will be negotiated commensurate with experience, skills and ability.
