Company
They have a number of water based projects coming on line in the next 12 month ranging in value from $50m - $350m in Perth and through the state of Western Australian. The company provides construction solutions a number of sectors including across the build/construct, water, rail and civil infrastructure.
Main Duties
As the Project Quantity Surveyor you will be working very closely with the Commercial Manager to effectively manage and monitor costs of the project, direct and manage a small commercial team, which requires reviewing of tender applications, setting up sub-contractors orders, tracking of project costs, certifying sub-contractor payments, finalising commercial close of projects.
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
• Previous demonstrated experience in commercial capacity in ideally a heavy civil engineering or utilities environment.
• A willingness and competency to perform in a commercial based role.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to work the highest of levels.
• A degree within the commercial or engineering field is essential.
• The roles would be Perth based.
Benefits
A package which is in line with responsibilities of the position which includes:
Base salary of between £70k - £90k + package which includes, 10% Pension contributions, assistance with visa’s if required, assistance with all relocation costs. Note package paid in AU $.
