Job Description

We are a farming family based 70km North East of Griffith NSW and we run a cropping operation. Our family includes my husband who runs the farm and myself who assists where I can and our 4 kids. Our kids include three boys (8, 4 and 1 yr) and a girl (6). Being farm kids, they love the outdoors and have lots of energy, they can sometimes be over confident but we are strongly believe in manners and respect for others.

Our eldest two children are at school, the 4yr old attends pre-school 2days a week and the youngest is mostly at home. The position would involve helping with morning routines, playing, directing and supervising the children through the day and helping with bedtime routines. I am at home most days so can assist if needed. Some light housework and basic chores would be required also, but these jobs would be shared with me.

We are looking for someone to become part of our family, a big sister, who would attend family or community functions with us or go on farm trips.

We offer full board and a weekly wage with payslips. Accommodation is your own room within our large comfortable modern house.

We are looking for someone who enjoys children and as all kids have their moments you will need to be level headed when they test their limits. We have a car available for use so you will need to have a full drivers licence. Due to running our own business we also need our au pair to be flexible and in-turn we will also be flexible with what you wish to do.

Our local town is Griffith NSW (actually a city), where there is lots to do and great places to eat. However, it is 75km away so trips to Griffith usually only come around once a week, so you will need to be able to enjoy home life. However, our local community of Rankins Springs is a very social, plus there are other au pairs working in the area.

We would like for the successful candidate to stay until mid/late December. We can also assist with 2nd year visa.
