Job Description
Our client requires a Bore Mechanic to service and maintain all water infrastructure at the watering points on their 2,498,460acre cattle property situated South of Mount Isa. Infrastructure includes draw plunger, flush cap, siphon and submersible pumps as well as diesel, wind and solar driven pumps. The Bore Mechanic will also be required to install new infrastructure as required ie gates, pumps stands etc. The successful applicant will need to have some mechanical knowledge and some experience with bores and windmills. A fully equipped Bore Truck (including all necessary tools) is provided as well as a well stocked bore shed. Stick and mig welders are available so experience with these is essential. Must have current MR licence and own transport. No personal animals permitted. Single, air-conditioned accommodation is provided and you are fully kept and accommodated free of charge. Wages paid in accordance with company EBA. The successful applicant will start as soon as possible.
