Job Description
An exciting role is open in a family owned company that operates cruises on beautiful Sydney Harbour. We're looking for a motivated and proactive all-rounder to take on a full time position in our office.
Your role will focus on the sales and promotions of our cruising packages for both the domestic and international markets. This means you will need to be able to communicate with overseas agents including clients in the widely expanding Asian market. Your tasks will include direct marketing, sales calls and cold calls, and new business development. This is the perfect opportunity to grow your skills and make a difference at work!
The role also includes customer service and reservations, as well as selling and coordinating private functions on a larger scale. Training will be provided; however, good phone manner, intermediate computer skills and excellent organisational skills are a must
The successful candidate will need:
• A strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• To be professional in manner and appearance
• The ability to work in a team, as well as take initiative as an individual
• Ability to multi-task
• An eye for detail
• To be highly motivated
• To reach and exceed quarterly sales targets
• A positive attitude and people skills
• Prior experience is a similar role is highly regarded, however a willingness to learn and jump in to any task is crucial
You will be required to work within a small but dynamic team based in Pyrmont. The salary package will be commensurate with your skills and experience, and will include rewards and commission for high sales performance.
