One Harvest is a 100% family owned, Australian fresh food business. Focusing on the supply of the freshest, most flavoursome fruits and vegetables to supermarkets and food service providers, our operations include production, harvest, processing, sales and marketing.

We are currently looking for someone with hands-on Quality Assurance (Food Industry) experience for a 6mth contract. We expect the contract to commence late July / early August.

This role is essential in helping to manage and implement site quality systems, support the training of staff to ensure products and processes meet internally agreed operating requirements, customer specifications & expectations, food safety and legislative requirements.

What will help you succeed?
• Relevant qualifications in either Food Science or Food Technology or extensive hands-on QA Food experience
• Highly developed attention to detail
• Ability to make objective decisions
• Strong communication skills
• Good character and the ability to make decisions according to good character

The position is based in Bairnsdale (East Gippsland), a great location if you like outdoors adventure. Bairnsdale is a short drive from the ski fields, fishing, hiking and more!

As our factory is 24/7 and this role includes rotational shifts & ability to work some weekend work. Therefore, a current driver’s licence and own transport is essential.
