Leave the cold weather behind you and make a new start in the 'sunny state' with this excellent Australian medical job for an Internal/ General Medicine Specialist in outer metropolitan Brisbane.
Our client is a busy 140 bed general hospital located only 30 minutes drive from the centre of Brisbane, in a location with a growing population of new families and retirees. You will ideally enjoy general medicine and be willing to participate in the general on-call roster, if you have a super-specialty also, that is fine.
The hospital is a group B acute hospital providing primary and secondary level services in the areas of emergency, general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, anaesthetics and mental health. It is part of a larger health region where you will be able to build professional relationships and further your CME via their large tertiary facilities, university and potentially access private practice opportunities over time.

Travel times are generally very good from suburb to suburb in Brisbane, so wherever you chose to live you won't spend half your life in the car. - To be eligible for consideration for this role you will need as a minimum:
to be registered or eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia, and
- to hold specialist qualifications in Internal Medicine / General Medicine that are acceptable to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
