HealthStaff Recruitment offers a special designed USA Work & Travel program for Australian trained Physiotherapist
We offer permanent positions and travel assignments in Hospitals, Private Practice and Aged Care Centres across the USA.
There are plenty of opportunities to work in most States from Florida to Idaho, from Virginia to Texas and from Washington to Ohio
How do you qualify for this unique program
1. You should hold an undergraduate Physiotherapy degree from an Australian University that is not less than 4 years in length
2. We require a 24 month commitment to work in the USA.
3. All Australian trained Physiotherapists must sit the National Physical Therapy Examinations (NPTE) in the USA. You must pass this exam in order to be able to register as a Physiotherapist and work in the USA
4. HealthStaff Recruitment will prepare you for the NPTE and we fly you over to Hawaii to sit the exam.
You have to pay for your exam, flight and accommodation, but this will be reimbursed when you commence working in the USA
5. When you pass the NPTE, we will arrange your work visa. Australian citizens are eligible for an E-3 visa, this allows you and your spouse (not de-facto) to enter the USA and work for the employer that has provided the visa. The visa application can take up to 4 months
