Experience living in a Queensland rural town that can offer an idyllic rural community lifestyle yet offer the facilities of a large major city.
Situated on the rich soils of the Darling Downs, this historic rural town is just 211 km North West of Brisbane and is at the crossroads to Toowoomba, Kingaroy, Roma, Mundubbera and Goondiwindi. Being so close to Toowoomba, Brisbane and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts makes a visit to rural Australia an easy drive for the metropolitan visitor. The region is renowned as a rich agricultural area.
Growing crops such as cotton, sorghum, wheat, barley, sunflowers, chickpeas, mung beans and corn, as well as the production of lamb, beef and pork.
This position is Permanent Part Time and is based upon a minimal of 56 hours per fortnight.
Although you will be working within a small team you must have the ability to work autonomously.
Your responsibilities include
•Provide support and direction to non midwifery staff
•Ability to work in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse and Nurse Unit Manager.
•Utilisation of your proven leadership skills in Midwifery to enhance the professional development of self and others
Australian residents must be registered or eligible for registration with the Queensland Nursing Council and in possession of current annual licence.
