Job Description
Work and Travel OZ is looking for upbeat individuals with leadership experience to manage a team of charity fundraisers.
There are two primary duties within this role: The first is to fundraise. Whilst fundraising, your aim is to interact with members of the public in attempt to gain long-term, financial support for the charity (extensive training will be provided).
The second is to train, motivate, and manage your team to ensure individual and team targets are being met. Light administration duties (including recruitment) are also a requirement.
Our main area of focus is door-knocking; however we regularly work in shopping centres and on streets. As team leader of our road trip team, the successful candidate will be travelling to new locations on a weekly basis to further promote the charity’s cause!
Please note that this is a full time position and does require regular interstate travel (neither point is negotiable). This job is not suitable for anybody who’s looking to base themselves in one location.
Role Criteria:
• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be legally able to work in Australia.
• Must be able to commit to at least 3 months of employment.
• Must have exceptional communications skills (fluent English is crucial for this position).
• Must have exceptional time management skills.
• Must have either management/fundraising/sales experience.
• Must be extremely organised.
• Must be able to work well under pressure.
