Job Description
Reporting to the Director, your duties will include;
• Diary Management: receive and co-ordinate referrals and manage workflow
• Typing extensive medical reports (min 70wpm) using dictaphone (digital and tape)
• Client liaison – you will need an excellent telephone manner and a mature disposition
• Preparation of accounts (both invoicing and receipting)
• Banking and mail management
• Follow up of outstanding accounts in a diplomatic and professional manner
• Managing information confidentially and efficiently
• Travel Management
• Implementation and coordination of a new database
• Management of office hardware/software
• Daily back up of systems
• Day to day troubleshooting.
• PA and general administration duties
You will need to be able to demonstrate:
• Previous office administration or office manager experience, preferably within the medical or legal arenas that covers the areas detailed above.
• That you are a self-starter with excellent time management skills.
• That your are highly motivated and a team player.
• That you have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• That you work well to deadlines and are keen to learn new things.
• That you have advanced MS Office experience including Word and Excel as essentials.
• Certificate in Practice Management highly desirable.
