Job Description
Senior Civil Engineer required for a booming Townsville office to work on some of Northern Queensland’s biggest up coming projects which are helping to shape the way of life for the North end of the state with new infrastructure and road projects.
This international professional service company is seeking an ambitious Senior Civil Engineer to head up their road design team and drive a number of new projects within the region. In this role you will be largely involved in business development, growing a new team of civil engineers and will be heavily involved in expanding the business within Northern Queensland.
Your background will include:
- Strong analytical ability
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Ability to increase business development and build on current client relationships
- Proven track record in design and management of rural roads, main roads, traffic engineering and transport planning
- Expertise within Queensland and Main Roads would be seen as an advantage

To be considered for this position it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
Have a degree or equivalent in civil engineering
Have proven staff management skills
Have proven ability in managing clients and assisting in developing business and project procurement
Proven ability in delivering projects
Strong and up to date knowledge of major infrastructure projects
